The beautiful antique furniture and décor of the chateau made me feel like I had stepped back in time. The grandeur of the common areas, such as the elegant drawing room and the charming library, added to the overall ambiance of the hotel. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessible layout of the chateau, making it easy for me to move around and explore without any obstacles.
I would have loved to have more interaction with the staff, especially the children working there. Their presence would have added a warm and lively atmosphere during my stay.

Spectacular Views and Charming Woodwork: The room we stayed in had beautiful XVIII century woodwork, which added to its charm. But what really took our breath away were the stunning views of the Valley of the Dive from our window. It felt like being in a fairytale, with the picturesque landscape stretching out before us.
Slight Breakfast Oversight: The picnic-style continental breakfast provided was a tad basic for the price. While the croissants were delightful, the selection for children, especially our three-year-old, was limited.

We had a wonderful stay at Chateau De in Ternay. The room was beautifully furnished with period furniture, creating a charming and authentic atmosphere. The dinner was delicious and the ambience was perfect. The swimming pool was great and we even had the pleasure of enjoying fresh figs from the nearby tree. We also enjoyed a lovely walk in the garden. The highlight of our stay was a sensational tour of the castle, where the owner went above and beyond to explain everything in English. We cannot rate this experience highly enough.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The warm welcome from the Countess and the beautiful, atmospheric room set the tone for our incredible stay. The stunning location and impressive grounds provided endless fun for our children, with a fantastic swimming pool and friendly animals. The owner's daughter made us feel right at home, allowing us to relax in the impressive rooms and courtyard. The grandeur of the castle, combined with the peace and quiet, created a truly unforgettable experience. The owner's entertaining tour taught us so much about the castle's history. The hosts were welcoming, and we loved exploring the park with the adorable dogs. It was a mind-blowing and super stay that we will never forget.

The room is absolutely stunning with its beautiful XVIII century woodwork and original fireplace. As a history enthusiast, I felt like I had stepped back in time. The view of the Valley of the Dive from the room was simply breathtaking.
Personally, I found the walk-in shower in the en suite bathroom a bit small. But hey, it could be just me!

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming and elegant, with beautifully adorned rooms and a grand courtyard. As a senior woman, I found the general areas of the hotel to be easily accessible, allowing me to move around comfortably and enjoy the stunning views from the terrace and garden. It truly provided a delightful atmosphere that enhanced my stay.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff in terms of catering to the specific needs of senior people. It would have been helpful if the children working there were more attentive and proactive in ensuring a better vacation experience for us.

Over Easter weekend, I stayed at a historical accommodation that offered a unique experience. The surroundings were breathtaking and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The staff was accommodating, and I enjoyed a guided tour that enhanced my knowledge of the site's history. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and clean, which made the experience even more memorable.
Communication with management was subpar, and I ended up sitting for hours in a lobby because key location facts were not clearly communicated to me. I found out too late that the restaurant was not open in the evening, which was a disappointment as I expected to have dinner on site.

The room in this incredible chateau was mind-blowingly magnificent, with an amazing old-world ambience and luxurious amenities. The friendly hosts made us feel super welcome in their home. The breakfast was generous and the truffles were jaw-dropping. The chateau's own woodland and swimming pool provided a relaxing and unique experience. Highly recommended and can't wait to return for a longer stay!

During Christmas, I stayed at a hotel that had a great atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The key location fact was that it was situated near to a stunning town with plenty of things to do. the hotel offered a great selection of food and drinks during the festive period, with plenty of options to suit everyone's tastes.
My experience was not entirely positive. The main problem was that the room I stayed in didn't have adequate heating, which made it incredibly difficult to sleep at night.

The value for money at this chateau was exceptional, with a large and comfortable room in a beautiful location. The staff treated us like family, providing an interesting tour of the chateau and a lovely breakfast where we could mingle with other guests.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with some more variety.
