We also enjoyed a lovely walk in the garden. The highlight of our stay was a sensational tour of the castle, where the owner went above and beyond to explain everything in English. We cannot rate this experience highly enough.

During Christmas, I stayed at a hotel that had a great atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The key location fact was that it was situated near to a stunning town with plenty of things to do. the hotel offered a great selection of food and drinks during the festive period, with plenty of options to suit everyone's tastes.

My experience was not entirely positive. The main problem was that the room I stayed in didn't have adequate heating, which made it incredibly difficult to sleep at night.

The value for money at this chateau was exceptional, with a large and comfortable room in a beautiful location. The staff treated us like family, providing an interesting tour of the chateau and a lovely breakfast where we could mingle with other guests.
